Yes. My favourite villains live in my house.
Melón and Kosmos have never destroyed a city or fought a superhero. Their crimes are smaller: stealing my seat the moment I stand up, declaring a half-full bowl completely empty and waking the household at three in the morning for reasons they refuse to disclose.
They also have accomplices. Mía is the Catwoman of the Feline Council. She handles surveillance and watches everyone over her shoulder, as if the other cats were merely supporting actors in her film. Kruker investigates the mysterious red dot. Wallie controls all closed doors. Together, they form the Feline Council.
The humans are supposedly the heroes. We pay the rent, buy the food, clean the evidence and open doors the cats immediately refuse to enter.
Yet nobody applauds us.
The cats create chaos, look at us with innocent faces and somehow convince everyone that they are the victims.
Why do I prefer the villains?
Because after destroying everything, they purr. One slow blink later, all charges are dropped.
If that is not a supervillain power, I do not know what is.
Does your favourite little villain have whiskers? Tell me their name in the comments.
