WhIf there is one thing I wish I had started doing earlier in life, it is choosing myself.

I wish I had started working and building my financial independence much sooner. I would have learned at a younger age how to earn money, save, and build something of my own.

For many years, I spent so much time thinking about everyone else that I often forgot to ask myself what I needed, what I wanted, or what made me happy.

I would have travelled more, discovered other cultures, rested without feeling guilty, and enjoyed life instead of constantly postponing it.

Growing older has taught me that choosing myself is not selfish. Caring for myself does not mean caring less about others.

I cannot recover the years I spent putting myself last, but I can choose not to live the years ahead in the same way.
